Here's Looking At You Kid!
This is a photo of a Northern Goshawk who was so kind to pose on the birdhouse.
I photographed him on Christmas day 2000.
I didn't have the heart to scare him away,besides he didn't look like he scared easily.
He looked hungry and wanted his Christmas present too.
I told him if he must,to take a english sparrow only.English sparrow and Starlings are the only birds not protected by law.
We have many birds in our yard which I love and I
will be posting pictures of them one of these days.
This hawk, along with other kinds visit every winter.We live in southern Pennsylvania.
